The Facelift Procedure

A facelift can range from a minimally invasive mini-facelift to a full face and neck lift. It may also be combined with other procedures such as eyelid surgery, brow lift, and skin resurfacing. A facelift is an outpatient procedure usually performed under general anesthesia. The dressing is removed the day after surgery and sutures are removed in 4 to 7 days. Discomfort is usually minimal. Your desired look will take shape approximately 3 to 6 weeks following your facelift as the swelling and bruising fade.
